Kathy’s original watercolor of Edward with long hair and brown contacts. I thought he would look good with long, “timeless” hair, so Rob spent 8 hours in the chair - Nicole Frank, assistant stylist - put in extensions. Rob HATED them. The next day Nicole yanked them out and she and Mary Ann and Rob started working on the now-famous Edward hairstyle.
Edward’s famous and much-loved hairstyle has always bothered me because it’s historically inaccurate. But I guess it’s a lot better than the director’s original idea.
