re: Edward’s accent
Robert Pattinson does an American accent extremely well, especially when you compare him to most American actors and actresses attempting to speak British English *cough cough won’t mention names here cough*.
Edward Cullens’s best British moments, off the top of my head:
Twilight: “So you’re worried, not because you’ll be in a house full of vampires…”
New Moon: (I can’t remember any??)
Eclipse: “Do you know how worried I’d been?” (likely ad-libbed, the wording is not AmE)
Breaking Dawn: “Beller’s going over her baby names.”
Anonymous Confession #212: “Sometimes Edward has a slight British accent in Twilight. Like when Bella was washing her truck and Edward jumped off of the top of the truck and asked her was she “worried” about going to his house to meet his family. His accent bled through on the word worried and I was like, hmm, Edward must travel to London alot lol”
